Community Relations Officer

Established in 1944 in the US, Heifer International is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending world hunger by providing animals and training to help impoverished families around the globe become self-reliant. Heifer International- Hong Kong was founded in 2000. As a partner of Heifer International, Heifer International- Hong Kong has been supporting Heifer's program in China.

Community Relations Officer (5-day work)

Requirements:

• University degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or Education
• At least 3 years of experience in communications or related fields
• Experience in working with schools and/or education institutions a plus
• Excellent command of both written & spoken English and Chinese
• Detail-minded, good time management and well-organized
• Proficiency in MS office and Chinese word processing a must

Job duties:

• Assist in promotion and implementation of school fundraising programs, including conducting school talks, marketing and educational resources production, report preparation and trip organization
• Main liaison person for school
• Responsible for maintenance of school data in database
• Provide donor services for schools, e.g. issuing receipts and certificates
